Meet Ceri's Family
Hi I’m Ceri, I’m 16 and I live in Denbighshire. My new years resolution is to write a blog so thought I’d give it a go.Let me tell you a bit about my family first. I live with my Mum Ellen, Step-dad Dennis, brother Sean and my baby sister Ffion. My famiy are probably just like yours with the same issues to face day to day.
I’m in my last year of school at the moment and will be doing my GCSE’s this summer. Mum thinks I should start revising soon but exams are ages away, I don’t know why she nags so much.

Sean
I am a young carer to my younger disabled brother Sean. He has Septo Optic Dysplasia which means he has physical and learning disabilities and requires daily steroid injections. He also has ADHD and the Doctor wants to start him on Ritalin soon which should help.Sean is great and never moans about his condition. I love him to bits.

Mum
My Mum Ellen cares for Sean and she cares for my Granddad Dennis too which means she doesn’t have much time for herself. She’s also busy looking after my baby sister Ffion too. She is 2 – cute but so annoying!!
Stepdad
My stepdad Dennis also lives with us. He’s not too bad I suppose. He is under a lot of stress at the moment because he might be made redundant. His boss has told them all they will be making cuts soon. I hope he doesn’t lose his job. Him and Mum already argue loads over money.
Spud
In my spare time I usually hang out with my best friend Spud. We are always having a laugh which usually means we get into trouble. Mum keeps threatening that she will throw me out if I carry on, but I don’t think she will. After all where does she expect me to go?
I’ve probably told you enough for now but I’ll be back every month to let you know what I’ve been up to and how my family are getting along.
See you next month!
